Kevin Burke
Kevin Burke brings nearly three decades of legal experience to Dan Burke Attorney at Law. Born in Poughkeepsie, New York, Kevin grew up in Austin alongside his brother, Dan. He earned an accounting degree from Southwest Texas State University, now Texas State University, before attending Texas Tech University School of Law.
For 29 years, Kevin has practiced in business law, estate planning and real estate law. He has also been a certified public accountant for 24 years, giving him a valuable perspective on matters where legal and financial considerations overlap. His experience includes representing taxpayers in disputes with the IRS and serving companies as fractional general counsel and chief financial officer.
Kevin’s accounting background naturally led him toward business and tax law. After law school, he joined a firm focused primarily on estate planning, tax and business matters. He continues to enjoy helping individuals and business owners make informed decisions as they work to build and preserve wealth.
Outside of his practice, Kevin values time with his family, especially rounds of golf and trips together. At Dan Burke Attorney at Law, he puts his legal and financial experience to work helping clients plan ahead, make informed decisions and protect what they’ve built.
